Wrapping Paws Around Your Arm?

When I play with Amber, whenever I keep the toy away from her, she'll jump and wrap her paws tightly around the arm holding the toy and start humping the air. She never makes contact with anything when she starts humping. However, she'll leave some nasty scratches on my arm. Does anyone else's bully do this? Any tips to avoid this from happening?

Sometimes pups will do this when they get excited. Just make her stop and tell her NO. She will eventually figure out it is not accepted and stop it.

I agree with David, some pups do this when they get excited. Let your baby girl know you disprove with a quick "ah ah" and remove your attention then redirect. If she continues to do it, get up and walk away, taking your presence and attention away from her, even if it means going into another room for a minute. She needs to understand you disapprove and learn the results for such behavior. They really hate to be ignored so she should learn pretty fast that you don't approve of it
