    That's a great idea. Using veggies as a dietary filler. What other veggies can I use?

    carrots, broccoli, etc. test some with Luca and see what he takes -- Our Banks will eat anything she has only ever spit out lettuce. keep in mind -- onion, grapes and raisins are not good (can be toxic) for canines.

    @Rural mystic Ace is a great looking dog. Buster was supposed to be an OEB like his mother but a Frenchie sneaked in and fathered the litter. We figure his mom must have been sleeping!

    Keep him fit. IMHO warm weather exercise is ok as long as they are nice and lean. Mimi (rip) would run back and forth in the backyard for long periods in 90 degree heat at 10 years old. Then again the humidity is lower in California.
