Remember too that THE WALK is about far more than just exercise. It's your opportunity to exhibit the leadership your dog is looking for from his/her pack leader!

Thanks for all your answers. I asked because when i had him at the vets she told me he was a bit heavy. If you asked me i just thought he was a stocky pup. He is 7 months and weighs 26kg s

I wouldn't worry too much as long as you can see his waistline when you look down on him. He's only 7 months old and they go through all kinds of growth spurts!

depends on the build of the dog how much stamina they'll have. Mine pack is good for around the block, 15 to 20 mins at a slow pace. In the heat, we never go for a walk. above 75 degrees we're not going for a walk as my bully's are low to the ground , short legged

hope this helps
Totally agree!!

Chunky and I walk at least a mile a day, but we've walked 6 miles, with a few short breaks and water. but since we DO walk so much he's used to it, as long as I keep walking my little guy will too! However that is unusual! If long strolls are what you crave I would slowly build him up to it, start slow and his stamina and endurance will build! andDONT FORGET WATER for both of you!

Depends on Chunk's mood and how much there is to mark along the walk! Lol. We also don't walk above 75 degrees. In cooler (60-65 degree) weather, we go to the dog park and he will run for a good hour with breaks to stop and get his pets from everyone. Lol

BREMBO
Brembo walks usually about 3 miles on a trail 2-3x per week. He also gets to go to friends houses and such where he sprints in circles for 2-3 hours. I think he's pretty fit for a Bulldog, fitter than most anyway.

He won't stop having fun, ever, until you physically remove him from a situation.
