Wow .. half frenchie and half OEB ... did the frenchie stand on a box????

Bwhahahaha!

Alice; he's adorable. I can't wait to see how the breed characteristics manifest themselves in this sweet boy. Until then, you've got the cutest pup in the universe!

Good for you for not giving him up! He's your baby now and I woudn't do it either. The same thing kinda happened with Mac, we purchased him at 4 months but his eyes turned out so bad a month later that she offered to give us a new pup. Well, we got him the specialist he needed, he's permanently disfigured in the eye area now so we neutered him at the same time as the surgery and just paid for all of it. I was going down the road of allowing his worse eye to be removed rather than take the chances and pay $$$$$$$$$ (you really DON'T wanna know how much) I was afraid that it would give him residual pain in the future since everything was so damaged. Hubby was crying, so we said to do what you have to do. Opthamologist was so dead set on neutering him as this was such a bad defect she got an old partner to come to HER to do it for him while he was still under. As a specialist she can only perform eye surgeries and nothing else, EVER. She's the best in the state of WA so if anyone ever needs her or is willing to travel to her I'd recommend her.

Awwwww! He's so patient with Buster, how sweet. And yes, I'd recommend her for any eye issues for any dog or cat or other animal. She's in Bellingham, WA. Because it was such an ER when she saw him she completely rearranged her surgeries the next day to get him in ASAP. She said that her patients that got bumped would completely understand that it was important. He did pull some of his stitches on one eye out a little and she wanted to put him under again to fix it but it would have been almost 500 more. After the bill we just paid, 500 wasn't gonna be a big deal I guess but I didn't want him under again because if something had happened to him that time after he pulled through the last time I would've been devastated. That would have been 3 surgeries in 1.5 weeks! The first one was our reg vet going in but he had to back out due to the issues but he was still put under so it still counted. Buster still looks like a bulldog and is still a sweetie. At least it was another bully breed right??

babybully Buster is half Old English Bulldogge and half French Bulldog so he is all Bulldog to me. The breeder put super glue on his ears to fold them over when they popped up. My vet used clippers and some skin friendly solvent to get them unglued. I think they'll pop up again which is fine with me. I love him how ever he is!

JeannieCO when I get on the ground they come running to pile on me. Plus Wed. thru Fri. we had a crew up here to caulk and paint where our wood beams have shrunk away from the walls. The whole house is tracked up. I vacuumed but am too sleep deprived to scrub floors at this time!!!
