Smoked Bone...

Well, antler. Got it from a pet store. None of my dogs were interested, so I smoked it. Any issues with this?

Everything I've read about antlers says they can be "lightly" smoked.....I'm not sure what exactly they mean by lightly....

Thanks. I'd assume antlers, like bones would get brittle if exposed to too much heat. Low and slow here so no worries there...

Good idea and yes antlers can get quite brittle if left in the sun and/or heat for a long period of time. So does he like it yet?

Yep! He's knawin' on it now. The others are hovering too but they know that smell :yes:
