I started coconut oil tonight, about a teaspoon in his dinner, and some topically on the areas he constantly scratches (belly, neck, etc). He wasnt too interested in the coconut blob in his bowl, so I kind of mixed it in a bit. He is more of a grazer than a gobbler so we will see if it is gone in a few hours. Funny though, bc when I had a bit on my hands he loved it, and licked it off before it even melted in my hands. So I melted some more before rubbing it on his itchy areas, one of which is his face, so now he is sniffing EVERYWHERE trying to find more to lick up, little does he know it is himself he is smelling! Poor guy! I cant help but laugh!

Too, too funny! :droolers: I bet he will start eating it 1st, solid blob or not, mine did.

Brutus did all those same things and the biggest thing that made a difference
was finding a good food he DIDN'T react with, altho he (and I) still take coconut
oil.

Oh I should have mentioned, the itchies are from seasonal allergies, he takes meds but I feel like the meds could use a boost
