Canon 60d with 24-70 and 70-200 L lens and a few primes. Photography as a hobby as well so a lot invested, prof glass makes a big difference once you have the basics of the exposure triangle figured out. Or at least use aperture mode. :)

I use the first edition of the 24-70 on my 7D. Even on a crop sensor, it's still a sweet piece of glass. I also use one of Canons 70-200....the f/4 IS. I've gotten good results with Canons 50mm f/1.4 and 28mm f/1.8.

Interesting you posted this... I was just thinking what a terrible photographer I am using my phone camera, which is pretty bad. I have a canon xti 12 mp I can't find since the move, and a smaller digital power shot that I also can't find.

(photography degree but I'm actually a designer)
