I just read this in my daily newspaper here in Melbourne. Horrifying for poor Bella Mae in Oklahoma.

Yes I felt the same way when I saw this. Sorry if I caused discomfort for you but just wanted to warn all the bully owners in the US. Fortunately, Ella Mae will be ok.

Oh no I am so glad you posted this to get word out for other animal owners! More prayers the better for this little girl This is very scary and its good to remind everyone to keep a close eye at all times!

I think the scariest part is that this happened in their back yard.
I'm glad she's going to be okay though... that poor baby must have been in so much pain...

I get that this is an important news story to get out, to warn other pet owners of a danger that most never think about. But am I wrong to be angry at so many pictures? That's 2 extra hands that could be pulling out quills and lessening the time that sweet baby has to suffer.

Oh, gosh, that is just awful! That poor girl. I hope she has a speedy recovery and isn't emotionally or physically scarred from this experience.

That was hard to see. Made me feel ill. That was horrifying. So glad she was able to get those quills pulled out. I'm assuming she was on some pain medication. Thank goodness no porcupines in Fontana.
