:hiya: and :smileywelcome: Glad you joined us! I havent used daycare yet so Im not much help but I would want to know they have other bullies...make sure they dont keep them outside too long when its hot...To know when to limit playtime..basically people that know about bulldogs and how to properly take care of them even for an hour or so. I am sure other members will be by to give some input...U can also create a new thread :)

How awesome that you can take in these bully's....I wish I had the room I would love to do that! As far as housebreaking....I tell my puppy buyers to take the puppy out when waking up, after eating, after playing and before bedtime....Good luck with your new puppies....I'm very jealous!

View attachment 25056View attachment 25057View attachment 25058Here are our new boys. Louie is fawn and white, and Hank is brindle with a white face.

That's an abundance of cuteness there!!! Welcome to EBN too. I've been through 3 puppies in the last 1.5 years. The puppy article link that Davidh posted is full of great information. Best think I can say is have patience, get them outside for pottys when they first wake, expect lots of extra laundry for the next few months while they're potty training, put their nighttime crate next to your bed and if they whine simply reach down and stick your fingers in so they can touch them (they want reassurance and should fall back to sleep soon). Oh yeah, lots and lots of praise when they potty outside. I would pick my two up and physically take them to the area I wanted them to go in and Emma still heads that way to take her #2.

They're adorabull!!!!

Thanks to all of you for the praise and advice. I'm loving the pictures of all the bullies all of you have! We are making slow progress with the boys. Potty training is progressing with the help of a couple of artificial turf training pads. I recommend them highly! Our three older bullies are gradually adjusting, though our oldest, Daisy, wants nothing to do with them. They are 9 weeks old tomorrow, and next week starts official puppy training classes. We hope to eventually be able to let them be therapy dogs, maybe with an organization like Hand And Paw. Does anyone else do this with their bullies?

What a gorgeous, gorgeous family. It really makes my heart soar to know you have some genuinely senior bullies!!

I have no advise re: pee pee squirts. If they are doing this ONLY during play, it could be that they're just small and learning bladder control? Playing is tough business and a baby might leak sometimes...? I don't know.... Someone else will know here.

Welcome. You are blessed there! Blessed.

oh bless you for taking them in and for giving all your bullies a wonderful home. love the pics. i dunno bout pp squirts im assuming they are just excited when playing. maybe put some plastic down in the play area to keep from having to mop all the time. ive heard of people using their dogs for those kind of things but never have myself. i just take sarah to petco where they all love her and rub her endlessly. they love it and so does she

The artificial turf is doing wonders for pee-pee accidents. The boys will stop playing and walk over to the pads pretty reliably now. Our latest challenge is chewing. They have a THOUSAND toys, but seem to want to chew on window sills and blinds. Trying bitter apple now, but, on a vet's advice, we have also gotten a squirt bottle. We don't say a word, just a quick squirt when they are chewing where they shouldn't be. Pretty effective! They look around confused, like it's raining inside, but they quickly move away from what they were doing. Bonus: they're learing to climb stairs now!
