Because both Finn and Tate have been driving me crazy all day long!!! :cursing:

Isn't Saturday supposed to be a relaxing time? Today the two of them have been at each other's throats all day, fighting over toys, over snacks, over attention. I've got scratches on my legs and arms from getting caught between the two of 'em. I had a handyman come in this a.m. to caulk my shower (the same one Finn nipped the last time he was here), and had both on leashes and then crated Finn b/c they were going cuckoo, then the cable guy later in the afternoon, and the same thing...

they've gone thru obedience school...they both even have diplomas framed to prove it!!! what the heck?? :chapped:

Tate even bit down on Finn's ear and punctured it enough for blood to shed.

I almost wish i had to go to work today b/c at least there, I would have some peace and quiet.

I just needed to get this off my chest.
Do your sweetie pies ever make you go crazy?!!
You know I really do love these little devils dearly (but if you have any sedative recommendations, something very fast acting, let me know)! :j/k:

I hear you! Aubie has been relatively good today, but some days lately she's been driving me crazy! They are just having one of what I call Aubie's "loony-bin days".... where she's about to send me to the loony bin! LOL. I hope tomorrow is a better day. Maybe the people coming and going threw them off today? Or they're just being bratty siblings!

Daycare ..... That's always my drug of choice. But with this heatwave, it's becoming a rare occurence. Hopefully it'll end soon cuz stigs has started to lick my face when I'm sleeping and Punkin paws at me sometimes.

When they start making me crazy, which is most of the time. I take one out for a walk (evenings only). They get some excercise and I get some fresh air and away from the house of loonies.

Right on Fontanafox

I was gonna say put on your dog walking outfit --- early, early in the morning -- and run em around the block. Tired dogs are less likely to cause shenanigans.

Saalwi - don't you give Valerian root? Would that help her?

Thanks for all the suggestions!

Yesterday was just a mixed bag for those two, I think, with the handyman coming over, then the cable guy, then hearing some loud booms 'cuz of fireworks. Finn was acting pretty ornery too. I took them for a good walk in the a.m. hoping that would konk them out for the day.

Well, today is a new day and I took each of them out separately for a vigorous walk. Right now Tate is snoring away on my lap, and Finn is asleep on his favorite ottoman. Ahh, peace and quiet...I love the sound of bully snores!!
