Question for the ladies

Yesterday we established that Abby is close to being in heat. I've never had an unspayed female and I'm not sure what to do. Is she going to get cranky? Should I buy extra chocolate ice cream and pretzels? Is there anything that I can do to stop ummm... the mess? I'll replace the carpets in the whole house before I let myself lock her up in the kitchen all day and chase her with a mop.

Bella only hit one "season" I didn't have to do anything. She would "leak" a little bit, but very controllable....is that a word???

We put diapers on Aubrey... with panties on top so she was stylin'! LOL. She was fine with having them on and it kept the mess contained.

For Matilda we were using those panties you could get at Petsmart, now I think we are gonna used the pads you can get for the panties and get some ruffled bloomers to put the pads in.

a 2T? would that fit her? She's 26.3 pounds as of yesterday.

Laurie uses 3t and 4t for caleb and gracie.. I would think she would have to be 2t.. how much does Abby weigh now? my baby (human that is) is size 2t and she weighs 33 lbs

and I think a pull-up you can pull easily off when it's potty time, then put back on and use a new one every 3 hrs or so..

Good post. I have to wait for Emma to go into her first heat before she can be spayed, she has an immature vulva. I didn't even think about her getting grumpy. I'll get her a special treat. :D

I would use the 2t on her..Any bigger and they might rub her...
