Thank goodness you had the presence of mind to pull the chord and not get yourself electrocuted in the process. OK, so let's move forward. Your baby is OK and he's on the road to mending. Something like this can happen to any of us.

So glad he is OK - how scary! I'm sorry you had to go through that. Poor puppy and poor you! He looks great though and seems like he'll be just fine thanks to your quick thinking

I had a rabbit named Jimi Boy that never ever learned that lesson. If there was a cord, he'd find it. (He was lose in the house, used a litter box)

It could have been a tragedy. Puppy gates are a LIFESAVER! Glad he's ok.

awww pooor baby!! everyone is right, it could have happened to any of us, it was an accident. my husband wants to leave lola out when we go to the store or even to work and i'm like HECK NO (with more verbage). you never know what she will do when we aren't here, and she's never home alone without being in her crate/bed. you just never know what these pups will do!! thanks for the reminder to watch our babies, and i'm really glad your baby is going to be a-ok :)
