CONGRATS! The proud parents beautiful and are going to make awesome pups. and just think; the little boy babies will have a set of bullocks like no one's business. *scratches myself and spits* Spike's a real man's man, isn't he?

I keep looking at your avatar...delicate little Pepper in her ballerina costume....I can't imagine that innocent little creature being deflowered by a brute named Spike. RUN GIRL RUN!

SMALL FREAKING WORLD eh?! I guess that also means that Victor is gonna have a BUNCH of pups - if the family tree stays true to multiple births.

Lucky buggar!

omg I had Dolly bred with his brother. Here is a picture, His name was Winston, no lie, his real life brother. Small world. She had 11 puppies and Winston came from a large litter also and my breeder commented on how fertile he was. View attachment 13171View attachment 13172 congrats and good luck Victor, enjoy the experience.

And by the way, Rocky was the name of the Bully in Leatherheads.
Wow , thats really something else, his brother. They come from a great line on both sides. The McElheeny's were highly recommended. What trully impressed me was how well they keep their kennels

Sure no problem you both can have as many as you wish but you have to volunteer to come and help raise them pups. we'll work in shifts
I will say this. If you have never had a female Bully in heat you cannot imagine the stink that comes off them. WHEW !!!!!:barf: I have her wearing nappy's so I don't have a mess everywhere but let me tell you them diapers are great for trapping gas. Trying to put a new nappy on her is kin to trying to catch a greased pig

Victor Y when I was sure that Dolly was having puppies, I switched her to a puppy food. Her appetite depreciated and she needed the necessary calories for the puppies inside her. Meals were smaller and more often, toward the end, she could hardly eat. I would mix canned puppy food into the kibble. Hope my side of Dolly's pregnancy helps. Here's a picture of her just before the pups came.
After the pups came, I fed her what seems to be almost constantly. After every nursing she had small meals, again with lots of calories. Canned food and kibble of the puppy variety. Now that she had more room inside her for food, she really could put it away. I never had to pull out a bottle to feed and she made plenty of milk, she nursed until the first vaccine, then we weaned. 024.jpg

002.jpg and this is one of the first cereal meals, I would mix cooked baby rice cereal, plain yogurt, raw egg, and pedialyte. yummy.

OK , I am sure I can use the help. LOL.

Sherry, Poor Dolly 11 Pups WOW , you must have been up all hours of the day and night caring for them.
I'll give the canned food with some dry and see how she does. I was looking also for a dry with proper calories. I am going to start giving her yogurt again when she is carrying pups so she and them get plenty of calcium.
The only foreseeable issue I am going to have is how the heck I am going to get her up and down the stairs so she can do her business. I have her on the 2nd floor of my house but I am going to turn the small room of my side entrance into a nursery so that just leaves the stairs going down from the deck. I don't know if she will be able to get up and down them when she is much further along carrying the pups And I don't figure she will be a bit happy with me trying to carry her, heck if she gets as big as Dolly in that photo there is no way I could manage.Might have to get a few of those fake grass pee pads and put them out on the deck.
