It was a mass , tested negative, vet removed enough area just in case it was cancer, it came on very suddenly

HOLY CRAP. I actually gasped when I saw that before and after picture. Bo was here, laying at my feet and looked up at me like "What is it????" ha ha ha

I'm so glad they got it off of there --- they clearly took decent margins on it too with all those stitches!

You know, I must tell you all, this was over a year ago if you look at the dates. Griz is doing great, his scar is only a couple of inches long and the hair has grown back, he has no ill affects, thank you all for your concern, and it's a good thing to show all the people that these things happen and yes, can be taken care of quite easily.

Sausage has the same bump on his neck. The vet is treating it with a topical anitbiotic for two weeks.
My first bully use to get these, they think as a puppy it's a matter of their immune system trying to catch up to them growing up causing an infection (that's what I was told).

Yes, I recall those pics. Couldn't believe the way it was stitched up but nevertheless it healed and all water under the bridge now.
