Update: 8/22/15 Sweet Kiki entered rescue last night after being transported from Miami. As you can see by her photo she is quite overweight and the stress of a new situation and the intense Florida heat put this girl into distress. Just a reminder of how quickly our precious Fur Babies can overheat this time of year. She was rushed to the Emergency Vet and had a temperature of 104. They were able to calm her down and cool her off during her overnight stay and we are happy to report she is on her way to relax at her foster home! She will need to be spayed, have her eyes examined and lose a little weight before being placed in a home. We are told she is very social and good with kids and other dogs. We will need to examine her though in her foster home to see more on her temperament.
Update: 9/23/15 Kiki is adjusting well to life in her foster home and she doesn't appear to be quite as overweight as we first thought. She is getting along great with her foster brothers and appears to already be housebroken. We will have her eyes looked at soon and she still needs to be spayed.
