Age: 3 1/2
Update 8/19/15: We got to Gator just in time as he was suffering from a urinary blockage due to bladder stones! We are expecting him to have surgery in the morning to remove the stones and he will need to be neutered as well. We were told he is good with other dogs and loves people. He is a smaller male weighing in at only 47 pounds! Once he has undergone surgery we will find the best treatment and diet for him to prevent more bladder stones from forming. We are thrilled to be able to help this cutie, but of course the medical costs are piling up so if you are able to donate to his cost we would welcome help with his bills! Keep your fingers crossed for this little guy.
Update 8/20/15: Gator's Bladder Stone Removal Surgery was done just in time as his bladder was not too happy and was close to bursting. He was neutered at this time as well. We are so happy we could help this boy. He is now recovering from surgery.
Update 8/23/15: Gator is still at the hospital recovering from surgery. He still has urinary catheter in because the doctor was concerned with how bad his bladder. He will be leaving the catheter in until Thursday and he is also on meds to help his bladder and urethra.
Update 8/28/15: Gator is doing well recovery from surgery. His urinary catheter was taken out and at this point he appears to be able to control his bladder fine despite the damage done to it. This cutie should be into his foster home tomorrow!
