Snookie ain't got nuttin on me!
Gladstone was found lying in the street by a good Samaritan on a HOT florida day. Brought to BTB and had no luck finding owners to claim him. It was clear that he needed medical attention. Upon X-ray at the ER it was found that nothing was broken or dislocated. There are pins in the knee from repaired fracture... long ago as a puppy. The ortho surgeon has reviewed his case and nothing can be done surgically to help him. A lot of arthritis in that knee and probably in his hips too causing his mobility problems. Medical management is recommended. In addition, he had a regular vet exam and was heartworm negative, he needs entropion eye surgery, dental and bloodwork pending. He is well mannered, house trained and good around other dogs. In his early years someone cared about him. He deserves to find that again.
UPDATE: Gladstone is recovering from entropion surgery.
UPDATE: Gladstone had his sutures out from entropion surgery! Tear production in normal range with is current meds. Getting around much better with meds for arthritis... feeling like a new man and ready for adoption!
