We just picked him up Wednesday and his name is Balou. He is about one year old and still has ALL of his puppy energy. He is very healthy and we hope he enjoys himself here while we find him a furever home. Here are some pics of Balou playing with Hudson:

lol NO!!! Hubby and I were just discussing adopting...Just wouldn't be fair to Gunner as he's so old and has a lot of medical issues. Belly is MORE than enough right now.

Awww what a cutie! You are so awesome for fostering! Is he an olde english bulldog? He looks just a bit taller and more athletic than the average english bulldog which is how I would describe the OEB breed so thats why I ask. I personally LOVE OEB's, I've considered getting one at some point :)

I thought he liked OEB too, but his previous owner said his dad was akc english and his mom was an english. I guess the mom was actually OEB, but don't know for sure.

Well, could be that he just hasn't filled out yet? Who knows...all I know is that he is CA-UTE! What a lucky boy to be able to hang out with you and Hudson until he finds a forever family! Keep us posted on his progress.

I betcha he finds a home right away. Just being "healthy" is a major adopting point. Balou and Hudson look so cute together.

Thanks for the kind words, everybody. We'll keep you updated and try to post some more pics. Quick update: Balou is calming down some, but he does seem to have some anxiety, especially with his crate. His owner thought he wouldn't be ok with kids, but we got Balou out and a bunch of the neighborhood kids met him and they all did great (both Balou and the kids). The one kid came up and asked "why is Hudson all white?" LOL! Balou also gets very attached to people since he spent most of his time in his crate before and always wants to be right beside somebody. When he thinks you are going to leave or hears a door slam he gets very anxious and can either press right up against or or (very rarely) snap at us. We are trying to break this behavior (mostly the snapping), but the anxiety makes it hard for him to concentrate. On a lighter note, here are some pictures:
