I referred to it as an eye lift to our vet and he laughed.

I have a soft cone that I used on Jax a couple years ago when he had conjunctivitis. Of course he hated it but it seemed to definitely be more comfortable than the plastic cone. After a couple of days he got used to it and would use it as a pillow. And there were a couple times where he got stuck under the table with it lol. If/when I go through with the surgery for Louie, I definitely plan on getting one for him.

Hi everyone! So she definitely is going to need surgery. This doctor was fantastic and really broke everything down for me. She’s got bad eyes and a little bit of everything going on. Lots of extra tissue that’s turning in in some places and turning out in others. He recommended that because her eyes are so complicated that we absolutely go back to our normal vet and get her under the care of their ophthalmologist. Usually general practitioners do the surgery but in her case we think it’s best to have her treated by a specialist. Will be making a consultation appointment with him soon. On the road to getting her all taken care of! We were thinking of having her spayed at the same time but if that’s too much I’m more worried about her getting her eyes fixed first. She is so precious! keep us posted on the surgery and we will all be praying for her! get the soft cone for around the neck.. much easier.

Thank you! We have our consultation with the ophthalmologist scheduled for the 27th. They said sometimes they can decide to perform surgery that day but I’m not sure if I’m okay with that. I will remain open minded as long as it’s in her best interest. She looks so sad and i just wish i could communicate that she will be okay we’re going to fix it!! Lots of snuggles.

She’s had a ton of nicknames since we brought her home and mama beans is the one that stuck.. or mama, mom, mommy, baby beans lol

such a sweetheart., Adorable pics It's soooooooooooooooo awful hard on us to have them go through anything. They are such our children and love them so. hope all happens soon and get her comfortable
