Brian Karn LOVE THOSE PHOTOS!!! Lucky Pup!! He's so handsome!!

Question, did he swim? Like paddle his paws? We got Joey in the big pool with her life jacket on but we never let go of the handles. She eventually paddled but still not on her own without us holding the handles.

sisters3 He did swim!! I stayed close for the first few minutes, but he likes his independence and went on to do his own thing (which meant ignore me and play with the neighborhood kids in the creek). Had no problems floating or paddling, he LOVED it. :)

Thanks! GREAT to know!! I got Joey an OuterHound life jacket, had to get the large, not ready to trust it yet LOL. I think it was me that was not ready to "let go", Joey loved it even though we held on to her

I almost went with the OutwardHound. Ultimately went with this one after reading multiple reviews and comforting myself after hearing good things. Diesel is 57# and the medium fits perfectly (length and width) and has room to grow with strap adjustments. My main concern was keeping his face up (which the outwardhound offers the front neck float for), but he didn't seem to struggle one bit.

Brian Karn GREAT VIDEO thank you!!! You gave me a great idea.....get Joey to where she can stand and walk to deeper water, that might help her. She is about 53#, just turned a year old. She love the pool but didn't get to swim on her own.......

I love the tongue while swimming. It shows great thought and effort! Wonderful pics.
