Hi Biogirl, it's a rubber teddy bear made by a company called JW, it's made from the same material as the Kong toys, so is a hard rubber. I bought it at Petsmart, and they've had it for over a year, and it has lasted through both Dozer and Blossom chewing on it. I have some balls from the same company, and they also sell other toys as well.
