Love Chumley--the name says it all! Our male bullmastiff once growled at a vet. He was a dog who NEVER growled (sounded like a Hell hound) but he could tell from the guy's body language that he was fearful of him. The a**hat insisted in muzzling Norton AND Trixie, who loved every one. We never saw that jerk again. If you are going to be a vet, I would think that being afraid of a breed, regardless of size, should be a deal breaker. Chumley is a rescue because he was waiting for just the right home--yours!
