Fun in Mud today

I was transplanting a plant in a new spot today and filled the hole up with water a bit and was waiting for it to absorb so I let Wilson, my trusty helper around the yard, have some fun in the mud.....he's always so inquisitive.

Oh, Wilson...such a good momma's helper! He really IS an inquisitive young man. I think he was investigating the soil to make sure the pH balance was just perfect for planting!

Adorable!

Bea and Bo like to dig in the sand when we go to the beach. All those sand fleas jumping around are a serious curiosity to Miss Prey Drive 2013.
I have yet to teach them to dig for clams since we don't see many at Picnic Point. LOL When we do find them, I say, "LOOK" and point to the hole. Any disturbance on the surface of the sand -- just their sniffing around the hole does it --- and they get sprayed in the snoot. One day, I will catch this on film! Bo always looks so .... um.... betrayed almost. It's as if he is saying, "Why did that sand hole do that to me? I didn't do anything!" Heeelarious.
