So far Renzo terrorizes our other dog and just chases our cat everytime he sees her. Lucky for our cat Renzo hasn't really learned how to run on hard wood and tile, he kind of just spins his wheels.

Brutie has been here a month and we are all still getting to know one another.
He is 3 yrs old and is pretty laid back, he waited until my cat, CoCo, made the
1st move (showed intelligence on his part) which was about 5 days after he
came here. CoCo is a Ragdoll and they are very mellow cats and she's been
raised in a multi-animal household. All our animals are taught they must get
along, don't have to love each other but no fighting...never had any problems.

If CoCo allows it (if she's in the mood to be mauled) then Brutie likes to lick her
ears and she will rub against his chest...too sweet! Texas Carol

With son's gf's bully, Bruzer, he did not grow up with cats and he
barks at her which she does not like therefore doesn't play w/him.
I think he's curious and would like to play but his methods turn her
off before they can connect. Bruzer is huge and has a big ole head
and I think she gets intimidated with his size. It took my Mother &
me a couple of times of being around him before we felt at ease...
75 lbs of intense bully fierceness , we'd never been around bullies.
Bruzer tho, like many bullies, is just a big ole baby boy wanting love!
Now when he sees me, his whole face lights up and he'll give a little
hop off the floor and just runs into my arms...embarrassing to admit
but we stop and love on each other as soon as we see each other and
that's generally BEFORE I hug & kiss my son or his gf, Kristi, lol. Carol

This is Sushi. This is what he looks like AFTER he gets his summer haircut - and coincidentaly, he is scheduled for this year's KITTY CUT TODAY. (He keeps trying to escape to the great outdoors.....)

Ellie Mae tries to play with our 2 cats. It's weird that the 1 cat that will come around her wouldn't have anything to do with our last bulldog and the other cat that was very tolerant of our last bulldog won't have anything to do with Ellie Mae.

When Sebastian and Oliver first came to live with us we had two St. Bernard's and three ferrets. The St. Bernard's were scared of the "bully" puppies and the puppies thought the ferrets were a new kind squeaky toy. They would play together until the boys tried to squeeze them to make them squeak then it was back in the ferret cage for the girls. By the time Remy came to live with us, both the big dogs and the ferrets were gone. We re-homed the ferrets since they weren't getting the attention they needed here and a lovely family took all three of the girls together so we didn't need to split them up.

Charlie cat is 10 years old, and not a fan of dogs. I got him from a shelter when he was about 2 after he was beaten up by three dogs.
I knew Charlie wasn't going to be thrilled about our new addition, but since Rook was a small pup I hoped it would be less intimidating.

It started okay at first, and they would look lovingly into each other's eyes.


Then one day the little pup turned into a giant bulldog.
Rook was fascinated by Charlie and wanted to follow him everywhere. Charlie wasn't having it.
Rook would get bapped on the head whenever he got within paws reach (don't worry, Charlie came to me declawed).
Rook didn't understand, and thought Charlie is just petting him. Rook's little tail wiggles every time.


Rook is still working on gaining Charlie's love.
He is now allowed to sit and watch him eat.


I'm pretty sure they are almost friends. My husband tells me I'm delusional.

Meatball would eat all that cat food if it was on the ground. We have rocky food up on the countertop.

aw how cute. sarah gets along with my bostons pretty well. sometimes she will give them a look of warning and they know steer clear. lol

Very cute picture...Brutus and my pitbull Chanel get along great. Brutus gets a long with my moms 2 dogs but some dogs who are barking and lunging Brutus reacts the same way and we correct it...Brutus needs more bullie friends to get used to the loud snorts...

Lol, thanks. :thankyou: I hope to one day end the story with a picture of my two snuggle bunnies napping with each other. Wishful thinking, I know. But a girl can dream.
