How much protien should my puppy food have in it? I heard that for bulldogs its suppose to be between 23-25%. Is this true help.

I was told by my bully get that a good protien for bullies is 20-30%. Wilson is on 24%. He'll be 1 on Jan. 8th. My vet is also listed under the recommended vets section, Dr. Geiselhardt. Wilson does great on this % and he's quite active. I'll be reasking him on our next visit.

Tagging the fabulous Nutrition Goddess, cowsmom for this thread.

When I first got Bea, I was feeding Origen - very high protein food but at the time, I thot it to be the best food - so why not feed the best? Well, protein overload! On the Origen, Bea never had a solid poop! Once switched to a lower protein, it was like Perfect Poo Magic. At that time, we switched to Nature's Balance Bison / Sweet Potato. (There have been many other foods since...but that's another thread entirely)

Best of luck on your quest!
