Help Needed! Skinny puppy

Fran eats fromms grain free puppy food twice a day. Cup in the morning and a cup at night.. I feel like she is so skinny [emoji24][emoji24][emoji24] am I doing something wrong? I'm driving my husband nuts he says she's just "fit". Then I start thinking she's not a purebred bulldog... heeeelllpppppppp!

There was a period of time where Louie was a little underweight. I increased his food just a little bit and now he's fine. Plus remember, not all bulldogs are shaped the same way. My vet said he'd rather see a bulldog be a little underweight than overweight. So, I would just increase her food to 2 1/4 cup a day and start from there. I can't remember how old she is, but she just may need more food.

She will be 5 months in a couple of weeks. My husband said a friend of his has a full grown bulldog and the guy told him he feeds him a cup in the morning and a cup at night and that we were gonna make her fat because we're feeding her too much! I get all kinds of mixed responses lol. She's gained weight since we got her I just think her face is so thin and her legs.. she's got some big ole paws too .

Louie will be 6 months in a couple weeks so just a little older. Puppies usually need more food than an adult dog so I would definitely increase her food. Louie still gets fed 3 times a day but I'll decrease to twice a day in another month or so.

IMO I think she looks great!! I will post some pics of Ellie a little later when I can find them on my phone, but she was just at the vet yesterday and 1.5yrs old is STILL weighing in at 35-36lbs which was at about 6 mos old

Thank you and I'd love to see pictures! She is overall happy I just think I have this idea in my head that she should be a little fat nugget and she's not.

That's her right now lol .. then I worry like hmm she sleeps a lot is it because she doesn't have energy because she's hungry [emoji24][emoji24][emoji24][emoji24] I make myself nuts! I just love her and wanna make sure she's getting the best care ya know.

She is not by any standards skinny. She is perfectly well fed young lady and even has a little cute tummy when sits. Her face shape is something that you can't change with feeding and her head and face shape will fully develop when she is three years old. Dogs sleep a lot like all carnivores. She is perfect. Period

I know she will change as she gets older. Maybe it's because she is my first pup lol ty! Psycho dog mom over here
