Food AND WATER BOWLS that is:

Thought I'd start a post about Ceramic Bowls.

We were using metal as always recommended (never plastic!) and our guy would get chin acne. Our vet highly recommended ceramic (and always washing with hot water and soap after every use!) because he feels the metal in these bowls tends to break down over time and our bullies could be sensitive to this. Thought I'd share - no chin acne since the change some time back!

very interesting. I will have to switch. We use metal. And plastic, because we just throw them in the dishwasher every night. ..... And i have a tendency to drop things...we did have ceramic . . . once

LOL Frith. We broke one, once, too! I was not thrilled, esp. with how heavy mine are. I was luckily able to find the match online though, haha! :)
