Hi I have a 15 week old pup. My vet mentioned switching her to an adult food early to avoid bone problems from rapid growth. I am feeding her taste of the wild venison. Do you agree to switching so early?
When I was looking for my bulldog a year ago, this breeder in San Diego told me exactly what you are sharing. He feeds the puppies adult food to delay rapid growth so he will not develop premature joint problems and arthritis.
Not sure if others agree. I'm sure others will give their 2 cts. shortly. Please post pics of Izzy.

Hi, my bet did not tell me that. We fed our puppies a puppy formula until they were 7 months old, and then switched them to an adult dog food. Puppies need the extra calories, vitamins and minerals that Puppy food provides for their growth and development.
@Dinet I use TOTW food, and fed may last pup the same food the others got,but also with a supplement. She is bigger than the others, and one is her full sister!
