Would this be a good substitute for my bully Bella? I had heard eggs are ok but was not sure on olive oil as I have never heard of giving that before. I believe it's suppose to help with her coat and wanted to know if this was safe and a good substitute for her supper one night. Any information would be appreciated! I know a few members give scrabbled eggs or hard boiled... not sure on the 'fry' part being a good idea

I have given scrambled eggs as a treat. I don't know about olive oil though

Eggs are ok in moderation, preferably scrambled, not fried. I use coconut oil.

Watch out for fat content. My Jewelie Girl had a case of Pancreatitis secondary to all the fat I was giving here and not realizing. She is now on a low fat diet.

My dogs get a teaspoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil in their food once a day. No dry skin.

Since Brett is kinda bored with his food I would add a hard boiled egg to his kibbles. He loves it.

I have auto immune diseases (several) and had to study
nutrition in order to have any life at all as doctors & specialists
have no clue & no answers, just pill pushers :(

Eggs are best digested & utilized at optimum value if very soft
boiled and to make it interesting, give once or twice a week in
the shell, it is a great source of mineral & fine to eat.

If giving olive oil, make sure it IS really olive oil as many are
nothing better than lamp oil with toxic/rancid oil blends. Look
for certification, small companies...avoid grocery store brands
& large corporate co's.

Coconut oil is great, a little goes a long way & be watchful to
any strange symptoms as some bullies are allergic to it. I give
any new thing ONE at a time only so I can identify any strange
reaction to what is newly introduced to them. I do this with my
self, includes foods, supplements, medicines, etc.

Avocado oil or fruit (the pit is toxic) is great supplement, cheaper
than coconut or olive oil and easy to feed, it's a 'good' fat too!
Give a couple slices as separate, healthy treat or topper on food.
Of course, without peel ;)

Love sardines, water packed, once or twice a week. Good luck!
