When making the switch

I've read multiple times here that some owners use pumpkin. Is this a good idea to add while making the switch from pro plan to Fromms puppy gold? If so, how much? Thank you all.

Oh sorry, I just read a few posts down that 1-2tbsp per day and it could take up to a month to see changes (firm stool). Sorry for the repost of similar question.

I'm not sure if I would add the pumpkin while doing a food transition because you want to know if Ace is tolerating the food on its own. I'm not sure though, maybe someone else has an opinion on this as well?
