Winston has been on the Four Star Fromm large breed puppy for about 5 to 6 weeks now... his :poo: is getting firmer, but I'm still having some staining around his eyes & neck and I use the douxo pads daily. My question is can I go ahead and start him on the adult food? He's 7 1/2 mos now... What is the best Fromm to start with, I was thinking maybe the Fromm Beef, or the Pork varieties?!!

Perfect choice.... go ahead and switch him to either..... Fromm says you dont need to transition him when switching to one of their foods but I plan to do a slow transition of Amy at the end of this month when we switch her to Beef Frittata from the puppy blend. She will be 6 months when we switch her.

Yes, 7 months is a perfect age. It's okay to switch to adult food at 6 or 7 months. We switched our guys to Fromms Beef Frittata when they were 7 months old. We chose the beef because Blossom is allergic to chicken and salmon. Both my guys do well on this food.

as others said... good time to switch. Banks was on Fromm Beef Frittata for about 2 yrs, greta results, but still has some yeast issues. I switched a few months ago to the Pork and Peas... Fantastic. Yeast is about 90% a non-issue now... just her back paws and tail have some but it is managable with daily wiping
