Emma is about 14 weeks, so almost 4 months old.... hmmmmm that is a tough one. Will she be 4 months before you run out of the fromm puppy? The reason I ask is because from 12-16 weeks MY GOSH they grow soooooooooooo much. I would seriously want to keep her on puppy or ALS at *least* until she is 16 weeks, longer if you can.

Oh yes I reread your post. So she will be a good 16-17 weeks during the switch. I think that would be okay.

@JeannieCO if it helps their website suggests that is is fine for puppies. I can't rememer how old you said your emma was. 4 months? Macy is 6 months and i'm thinking about making the switch with her since it is grain free, chicken free, and potato free. She is currently on NVI salmon but she still has really bad tear stains. Don't know if this will help with that but as long as it doesn't make it worse or cause any new issues I think the savings will be worth it. I currently pay over $80 a bag for NVI salmon and can get great plains feast for $49!

Oh yeah, and here is my favorite part about this company
    UPCs for Trees

You can build forests around the world and help reduce harmful greenhouse gases when you participate in the Earthborn Holistic UPCs for Trees program. While most greenhouse gases are essential for maintaining our earth’s temperature, too much greenhouse gas can damage our climate. Planting a tree is a simple way to help remove excesses of the most common greenhouse gas, carbon dioxide (CO2 ), from the environment. That’s because in its lifetime, a typical tree can absorb nearly a ton of CO2.Send in your Earthborn Holistic UPCs and we’ll have a tree planted. It takes only 1 UPC from a 28 lb. dog bag, 2 UPCs from 14 lb. dog bags or 3 UPCs from 6 lb. dog bags or 1 UPC from a 14 lb. cat bag, 2 UPCs from 6 lb. cat bags or 3 UPCs from 2.2 lb. cat bags to plant a tree.
    1. Purchase any Earthborn Holistic product.
    2. Collect the UPC codes from the Earthborn Holistic product package.
    3. Mail in the UPC codes.

Then sit back and we’ll do the rest! We’ll have trees planted in areas that have been affected by deforestation. Check out the Tree Locator to see where trees are being planted now. Imagine the impact we can make by working together through UPCs for Trees.Love Your Dog. Love Your Planet.

Emma's 14 weeks right now and will be 17 at the start of the switch over. I think she'll be fine. I transitioned Wilson at 16 weeks and he did great. I'm going to go ahead and order Meadow Feast for Emma and Wilson and Great Plains Feast for Jack since it has a higher protein. Can't wait to see how they all do on it.

i went to wipe watson's tear stains today and it was dry...maybe this food really helps with tear stains!

I think I am going to follow @JeannieCO and order Meadow feast next when my Great Plains bag run out because of the % protein.

Also Earthborn has a facebook page and someone from the company will answer all the questions that are posted on there. I asked them today to bring it locally here to Charleston and they said they will look into it.
@JeannieCO you can ask about emma on their facebook page if you want to
