@kazzy220, i love pate! we have liverwurst which is almost similar...in a Farmer John kind of way!
That's another great idea for the chicken livers...if you get a chance, can you post your recipe on the recipe forum section? i'd love to make some too.
i have no use for chicken liver myself but one of the treats i give my dogs is freeze dried chicken livers. they love them.
I was forced to eat bad beef, chicken and pork liver many times as a child too. I will say I actually had Good pork liver one time. But only once and at a place I'm not likely to be eating again. So I discovered, It's all in how it's cooked I guess. But I don't know how to cook it right, and I'm not interested enough to learn.
I'm very prone to anemia too, but I'll just take iron pills and eat spinach.
