I had to vote Sometimes because normally I just give him carrots or natural dog biscuits. But once in a while, especially for teething purposes, my girlfriend will stick bits of carrots in a glob of peanut butter and freeze it. Rocco goes crazy for this simple concoction!

Does putting yogurt in a kong and then freezing it count? I give him frozen sliced peaches too...I'm guessing opening the bad and handing one to him is not quite what you were going for either!!

yes, always. I'm really strict with their diet and they don't get anything that's bad for them or I don't know what's in it. So I cook tongue or gizzards and if I don't use them in a day or two I will dry them as well.

I put no because I don't really make anything. I put yogurt and fruit in her kong and freeze it. She also likes the Fromm grain free treats, cheese, and bell peppers.

I love baking them their cookies. I usually go to my go-to of whole wheat flour, canned pumpkin, peanut butter, cinnamon, baking powder, and a little bit of water. They're so easy to make and they absolutely love them! I do still buy treats for them but I always get organic treats

yes...and Stinky loves them...I must say they are pretty good.
    Makes 36 large dog biscuits

    • 2 1/2 cups [replacer_a]
    • 2 tablespoons flax seed
    • 2 extra large eggs, lightly beaten
    • 3/4 cup canned pumpkin puree
    • 1/4 cup cold water or enough to make dough stick

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Combine brown rice flour and flax meal in a large bowl. Mix eggs and pumpkin together in a separate bowl until smooth. Add pumpkin mixture to brown rice mixture in two parts, stirring with a wooden spoon or spatula. Add water slowly. Use your hands to pull the dough together.
Roll dough out between two pieces of waxed or parchment paper to desired thickness. (about 1/4" thick.) Remove top piece of waxed/parchment paper, flip dough onto brown rice floured counter, remove top piece, and then cut biscuits using desired cookie cutter. Re-roll and cut scraps until you’ve used every possible bit of dough.
Place biscuits on parchment lined baking sheets (or lightly greased with oil). If using a dog bone shaped cutter, gently press down, wiggle a little, then lift out.
Bake for 30 to 45 minutes, until the top of the biscuit has dried out completely. Let biscuits cool on wire racks. Store in an airtight container. I will also add dry cranberries or blueberries.
