    Meet Hitch

    In July, 2010, the Indiana Bulldog Rescue was contacted about a bulldog found on a country road. From what we understand, he was tossed from a moving car. Every part of this poor bully was infected; eyes, ears, and skin. He was emaciated.

    You could see every bone in his frail body. He was afraid of the world around him and coward when you looked at him. He was in Foster car for a few months when we met him.

    Hitch's Foster Mom told his Adoption story on the IBR Website:

    Hitch's adoption is a story of fate. As Hitch's foster mom, I not only had the responsibility of his medical care, but also his social and emotional well being. So he spent a lot of time with me going places to take care of day to day business and activities.

    It was a Sunday afternoon, I was called to take care of some rescue business and Hitch was by my side. On our adventure Hitch found a young bully named Winston and his family. Life would never be the same for Hitch! He fell in love with Winston's charm, playfulness, and care free personality......

    He also fell in love with Winston's family too!

    The feeling was mutual; Winston and his family fell in love with Hitch on the spot! I knew when Hitch and I left, this was meant to be his forever home! As fate would have it, Winston and his family knew it too!
    On September 1st, Hitch was reunited and adopted!

    Even after all he has been through, Hitch is such a loving, sweet boy. I will never understand why things like this happen, but Im comforted knowing he will never have to suffer again. He still has a way to go, but I think his story is worth celebrating.

      My sweet boy has been through so much in his short life. I cant look at his sweet face and imagine feeling anything but love. I will never understand how someone could be so cruel

      I will NEVER understand how anyone could do that to any animal. So glad he's in a loving home now!

      Oh that is just heartbreaking to read but makes me so happy that he ended up in such a wonderful home!
