Hi, my name is Doc and I'm looking for a VERY special family to adopt me. The first part of my life was pretty rough and it made me into a very scared little bully. I was extremely sheltered and was never exposed to new situations, so I am just learning how to be comfortable in a normal home environment. Loud noises and surprises really scare me, but I'm getting more and more confident every day! I have a foster brother who is teaching me how to play and snuggle and protect the house, and how to actually enjoy life! My foster family says I'm getting sillier by the day.
I'm looking for a family with a calm and quiet home, a canine friend to hang out with, and lots of patience while I continue to get comfortable. I am mostly house-trained, but I HATE being outside, so you'll need to take me outside on a leash to make sure I do my business. I don't mind cats at all, but I would prefer older kids only (12+).
