Hi everyone! My name is Bowser, and I am a 9 month old puppy. My previous owner turned me in to rescue because I have some health issues. My kidneys don't work as well as they should, and SCBR is trying to figure out how best to manage my health. We're not sure yet what that will look like long term, but I will almost certainly need special food and supplements for the rest of my life.
In the mean time, I've been really busy just being a happy puppy! I love to play with toys, chase my ball, and meet other dogs around the neighborhood. I am very affectionate, gentle, and loving. I'm also well house-trained, but if I'm home alone for a longer day, it's hard for me to hold it because of my kidney issues.
