Dexter has always been the only dog in the household and is an indoor dog. He easily overheats being outside so he would need to be in a home where He can live inside.
He has always lived with our 2 cats but we can not know if he would get along with other cats that he is not familiar with.
He has some insecurities with other dogs so he would do best being the only dog in the home. He gets very excited when meeting new people.
Dexter would love someone who can give him the attention he needs.
He likes short, leisurely walks around the block, belly rubs and just hanging out inside the house.
He has no problem with adults and just wants to be loved.
Dexters favorite thing to do is lay by peoples' feet. He enjoys chewing on his toys. He loves to be pet and let's you know he's happy by wagging his little nub tail and leaning against you. He also knows a few commands such as sit, lay down and shake.
His ideal home would be a single person or a couple with no kids who just wants to give him love.
