hello, my name is Bam Bam. im 6 yrs old. my story is somewhat sad. my previous owners didn't love me like they were supposed to. my ears were so infected and were being bitten by flies since I was kept outside. my eyes needed surgery and I needed medicine for my ears. I was such a mess that one vet offered to send me to rainbow bridge because I was in so much pain and my owners couldn't afford what I needed to make me better.

That is when rescued was called. I had surgery on my eyes. they fixed up my ears and I got all my shots. I have scars on my ear and I will always need drops in my eyes but I have no more pain!

I am a little hard of hearing when you call me but I can hear when your car pulls up or you are walking over to me. My eyesight is not as good as it was but it gets better each day. I was not hugged or kissed a lot so I sometimes get nervous when you approach me because I think you might not like me. I give my foster mom and dad lots of kisses because I know they love me. I like other dogs and cats and don't mind them at all. I do sometimes get stingy with my toys and food but I'm learning. small kids might not be a good idea because I was never around them.

I love walks and car rides. I love sitting or laying next to your feet when you are working or watching tv. I'm learning how to go out a doggie door now. I was never allowed to be inside but I like it very much. I need a patient family that will take care of me and commit to me the rest of my life. I'm a great dog and if given the chance I will love you forever. please give me a home for the holidays.. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT PLACE OUR DOGS IN HOMES OUTSIDE OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.
