Hi everyone, my name is Daisy! I’m also known as Baby Daisy, Daisy Lou, Daisy Duke and sometimes mom calls me Garbanzo Bean. I’m a very young girl with lots of puppy energy. Sometimes I get the zoomies and it makes everyone laugh, except for my 9-year-old foster brother, he’s grumpy and barks at me when I get nutty bandutty! I LOVE to play with toys, chew on antlers and try to find shoes to bring to my bed and hide. Since I do have all that puppy energy I have to balance it with snuggles. I snuggle my humans every chance I get, I think mom really likes it!
I came into rescue because I had demodex and my hair was falling out, someone didn’t want me anymore and let me go free. Luckily, someone found me wandering all alone and tried to keep me, but they didn’t know how to take care of me. Then I ended up with a family that took me to the vet. That’s when I got medicine and baths and I started feeling better. They couldn’t keep me anymore so a nice family from SCBR took me. They've been taking good care of me and now I’m all healthy and trying my best to learn good bully behavior and social skills.
I’m doing pretty good with potty training, I know I’m supposed go outside, but sometimes I still have accidents, so my humans have to keep a close eye on me and make sure I have access to potty often. I like my crate! I sleep in it all cuddled up and only whine if I see my humans wandering around, because I’d rather be cuddling with them. Sometimes I even cuddle on my foster brother and sisters.
I don’t look like a typical “meaty” bully, I’m a small girl, but I have long legs. My mom can easily scoop me up and carry me, I like to think that I'm “fun size”. Since I have a longer body and a not-so-smushy face, I can play longer, be more active and breathe easier. I get along with all dogs, but sometimes they get annoyed with my energy and I don’t know how to take a hint yet. I’d be good with a family with another dog about my size to play with so I don’t get squashed. And I would definitely love a family where I can be the only dog so that I can play and play and play and play and play and snuggle and cuddle and give lots of bully kisses. Is that you??? xoxo
