Roxy – A GOLDEN OLDIE 8-year-old spayed female
Tired of sleeping alone?? Well, Roxy would love to be your snuggle bunny. But if that is too much closeness, she will adapt to any sleeping arrangements needed as long as she is warm and comfortable indoors.
She is definitely younger in spirit and body than her stated age. She is happy sleeping on the couch but also enjoys short walks. She loves meeting new people and quickly finds her way into your heart. She is house trained, knows how to use a dog door and her foster mom describes her as an easy keeper. One of her favorite summer activities is spending time in her wading pool on hot days. She has a bit of mermaid in her. She has been looking for her forever home for over a year and during that time has demonstrated her tolerance for several changes in living environments and caregivers and has greeted each new situation with her usual, optimistic and affectionate approach to life.
She is available for adoption or long-term foster. She keeps her girlish figure with the prescription food that has kept her in such good health. No stairs please and a minimum of a small yard is preferred.
