If rarely my bulldogs wrinkles get really bad I use malacetic ultra. Works amazing! They hate it though, so I keep them distracted for a bit after using it. I usually only have to use it once or twice to clear the irritation up completely.

It's also thicker and sticks better. The purple desitin is also thicker and sticks, it also has more zinc I think. I quit using the blue desitin since I found the purple one!

oh, that's good to know. I never had success with regular Desitin for Tate's wrinkles--too messy. I may need to try the purple one; the butt paste does have the max.amt of zinc oxide so the purple desitin is prob. very similar to it.

I use hydrogen peroxide for daily cleaning or witch hazel. I wipe dry then follow it with desitin. I tried making a paste once. I had found instructions somewhere online. That was just too messy. Blue desitin works good for Ace, but he doesn't have very deep wrinkles. I have also seen quite a bit of members use Duoxo Pads. I have yet to try them.
