so on friday i took buddha to the groomers for the first time (hes going to be two in april)
i always do it myself but i thought hey they might do a better jjob and maybe help with all shedding hes been doing lately. i dropped him off and when i picked him up the lady told me he was great and that he loved having his but scratched . but as soon as she opened the door he ran out and looked terrified. it was strange because buddha loves meeting new people and it seemed like he wanted to get out of there fast. well i brought him back home and he seemed so tire and took a nap while my sister was sweeping around his bed she picked the edge of his bed up and boom he bit her :fie: that has never happen ever !!!! he actually bit he and let her go as soon as he realized what he had just done.he then lowered his head and wouldnt even look at her. i was so shocked and so was she because he broke into the skin. since then ive picked up his bed and moved him while hes been sleeping and he hasnt done it. so im thinking maybe something happen at the groomers. has this happen to anyone . although i love the job the lady did he smells so good and the shedding has minimized drastically im afraid that maybe he doesnt like it. haas this hAPPEDN TO ANYONE ??

You just never know, Honey. I'm so sorry he was traumatized and I'd go in
(with him) and ask what happened (watch his reactions to them & the place).

After seeing a dog fall off the groomers bench and dangle by his collar/leash,
I only take mine if I have the time to be there, watching.

Praying for him that he forgets the memory. GOD bless y'all

Well, not sure you should give up just yet...give it some time than try again,
observing his behavior and staying with him thru out. Maybe there was an
altercation with another dog there (that's why I'd ask them for details).

Keep an eye on your sister's bite but don't tell them your dog bit her if it
needs care. They will take and isolate him and possibly want to put him
down, I've heard horror stories :(

I have to take Cami for her nails cut, she will not let me do them (I got her
at 5 y/o) but I alway watch it done, in case of problems. It's not your fault
and hopefully, Bubba will get over it...a treat after you get there and a treat
after grooming is done...special, yummy ones! Good luck!!

it could just have been the stress of being around all the other dogs that may have been overly excited or ....did you ask how they dry him? Some places use crate fans and it could have been too much for him if they used one.
