But is there anything else I could use to give Brynn a bath? I was planning to go to the store tonight to get the oatmeal shampoo until all he** decided to break loose here and storm; still waiting for a tornado to appear, but anyways she smells! And I am having friends and family over this weekend so I would like to have her clean and smelling good before tomorrow night. If anything I will have to squeeze it into my plans tomorrow.

You can use baby shampoo or Selson blue, although that makes their white patches look a bit orange. Don't use regular human shampoo, I think it's because it's a different ph level or something.

Dawn (original formula) is gentle & kills fleas. Use cheap, white vinegar after
rinsing all soap off as a final, leave in rinse. Once dry, vinegar smell will abate
and Brynn will smell great for a longer time. Restores PH levels, oftens fur and
whitens white fur.

Forgot to tell you, 2 cups vinegar then fill gallon pitcher w/warm water.

I never wash or rinse the head or ears while bathing, I clean them w/warm
water & soft wash cloth after bath is done.

Some feel that oatmeal shampoos can contribute to allergy symptoms and to
avoid their use in sensitive breeds.

I completely forgot about Dawn; I do not have baby shampoo. But do have Dawn - we actually used that on my mainecoon kitten because when we rescued him unfortunately he had fleas. But anyways, I stay away from the face of every animal just in case. I will give this a try. I do have apple cinnamon vinegar if that would make her smell better than regular?
