I am no help in this department because I have never owned a show dog, but if I were a judge I would give him first place! He is so handsome and solid! Just love his face! I am sure someone with the know-how will be along soon! Just had to put my vote in!!

He's stunning I love him!!! Reminds me of our boy Otis! I'm not too sure of the rules of show but I think non rose ears (Otis's are floppy like your boy) is not to the standard. Other than that i got no advice, my family used to show boxers but i cant remember much from it -and times have changed to

you hot eyes like a hawk lol -i was so mesmerised by his face i didn't notice the ears
So looks like akc standard is same as in uk

@Pati Robins I have never looked up the UK standards but the US and Canada's standards are pretty much spot on, except the US requires more points for one to become a champion.

I agree with Davidh, other wise I would have to see him better from every angle. Show quality or not, he's adorable. And no it's not too late to train him.
