  • Hospice Sponsorship: Meet LadyBelle

Sponsor LadyBelle, our newest Hospice Bully with SoCal Bulldog Rescue! LadyBelle is currently the 7th Hospice Bulldog in our sponsorship.

Hi! My name is LadyBelle, at 10 years young my family decided they no longer wanted me. I was with them my entire life so I don't understand why I've been moved. It's ok though, because now I get live inside the house!

My foster mom took me to vet and I was found to have mammary cancer along with dry eye, severe arthritis and an ear infection. I also have lots of callus on my hind legs from sleeping on the cement. I do have some peepee accidents but my foster mom doesn't get mad, she cleans it up and gives me a scratch.

I had a very hard time walking when I came to SCBR but my foster mom puts lots of extra goodies in my food and now I'm walking better and can get out of my bed easier. I can't see very well but my nose works really well which helps guide me around.

I still have a lot of spunk in me for 10 and all my health conditions, if you stop by to say hi I will give you an high five then drop for a belly rub. Belly rubs are my favorite!

As you can see I need lots of TLC to keep me comfy for the last part of my life. If you would like to sponsor me please choose donate down below. Thanks!

Pain meds, eye drops, supplements $150 a month
    Food - $50 a month
Pee pads & baby wipes $40 a month
    Washing supplies $20 a month.

English Bulldog News has started a new sponsorship program of hospice English Bulldogs. These are the bulldogs that no one will adopt, due to their medical conditions or age, and have found their fur-ever homes in rescue, where they will be loved and cared for until they go to the rainbow bridge. Together, as a community, our goals is to pay for their food and prescriptions each month.

When you become a hospice sponsor, you will gain access to a special board in the forums for hospice sponsors, and you will receive the "Hospice Sponsorship" award to display in your award showcase within your user profile for each month you continue your subscription. You will also have a "Hospice Sponsor" badge that shows up in all of your posts. Your subscription donation will be automatically withdrawn out of your Paypal account every 30 days until you cancel.

I will never understand people when it come to pets. How can someone make her sleep outside and on concrete? Would they ? I think NOT. And get rid of her after having her 10 years. Thats like getting rid of your child.Don't get me wrong..am glad they did turn her over to someone that will love and take care for her..the way she deserves.
